1593년 2차 진주성전투에서 양산숙은 김천일과 함께 용감히 싸우다 순절했다. 양산숙과 김천일은 정렬사와 진주 창렬사에 모셔져 있으며, 그들의 희생은 잊혀지지 않았다. 고종후, 김천일, 양산룡, 양산숙과 같은 인물들은 임진왜란 호남 의병의 중요한 인물로 기록되었다. 이들은 모두 조국을 위해 싸우다 희생된 영웅들로서, 그들의 이야기는 오늘날에도 우리에게 큰 감동과 교훈을 준다. <br />
